Where SPE meets the Future!

September 26, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 3:30 pm

ATCE is SPE’s annual meeting of members and features groundbreaking papers and special technical events designed to accelerate the application of innovations in every technical discipline. Attendees come from around the world to ATCE to keep up with the latest technologies, industry best practices, and new product launches.

This year we are excited to host the Energy4me STEM Teacher and high school student workshop in Dallas. Offering a range of hands-on activities that will help illustrate some of the concepts that are dealt with in oil & gas exploration and production courtesy of the  National Energy Education Development (NEED) Project. You will not want to miss this exciting, free, one-day energy education development workshop.

Because we teach hands-on activities, students do not passively listen to a lecture; they must think through a problem or situation. They develop interpretation skills rather than memorize some correct responses. They learn that they can interpret data, which is a fundamental skill for engineers.
